Ammadi home has seen more than 6 generations, which actually makes the home more than 300 years of existence.

Ammadi is the home of famous poet laureate Kuvempu’s mother.

Ammadi (Ambadi) is also a dictionary word which can be refered in Rev. F. Kittel’s Kannada – English Dictionary(First ever Kannada to English Dictionary), first published in year 1894.

As Ammadi is located on hill station, it assures a perfect weather on all seasons. During monsoon it’s a feast for rain lovers as we receive heavy rains during monsoon. A chilling winter & moderate summer will offer a best place to stay on all seasons.
